These lists would be too long, and you should really do your own homework. But let me give you a push in the right direction:

Communicable diseases are usually spread by microbes. These include things like HIV/AIDS, norovirus (the stomach flu), anthrax, parasitic tapeworms, and mad cow disease.

Non-communicable diseases are often genetic or auto-immune. These can include breast cancer, Crohn's disease and diabetes.

Now that I've given you some ideas, go look them up in Medline or in a science book.

Well, while I completely agree that AIDS is a great threat and that the US should not allow anyone with AIDS from foreign countries into this country, you are wrong about G.W. Bush. He's NOT a liberal - he's republican. At any rate, AIDS IS a threat, whether people want to bring themselves to admit it or not. Not admitting it's a threat doesn't change the fact that it is - period! The lift on the ban is outrageous and should NEVER have been lifted at all! Those that say people aren't at risk for getting AIDS need to rethink that statement 'cause, if you have an open wound and someone with AIDS has an open wound (bleeding - not scabbed) touches your blood, you're infected and thus, have just contracted it! You can also get it from unprotected sex with a person that has AIDS as well as intravenous drug users contracting it through the use of dirty needles. Patients that are in need of blood transfusions can also get it (i.e. Arthur Ashe, the pro tennis player who died from it through a transfusion). The lift on the ban is just plain, outright stupid, though it's NOT the first time Obama-nation has done stupid, idiotic, brainless things in this country!! He's an idiot - plain and simple!
