FESTIVAL HELP!!!??!!?We Answered:
What an interesting question! Festivals!Well, first of all, you would like to see booths with different types of games.
Booths
*Collect used shampoo bottles, from Pantene or Garnier, those bigger ones, and stack them up. Have people throw these tiny cream bottles like the ones from Garnier conditioner. They are small and ball like. Very creative and I'm sure people will like it. As prizes, give away tickets.
*Have a booth where people an redeem their tickets for prizes, such as teddy bears, balls, or different memorabilia.
*Have a snack stand with different types of food such as soda (pepsi, sprite, mountain dew, etc.) hot dogs, burgers, etc.
*Bring in a dunk tank, people love them and they are popular among today's people.
*Have hoop games where you make a poster of someone's head where they have lost hair and attach hoops in different spots to pinpoint hair loss and then you take a ball that is light so they hoops don't fall off and let the people buy balls and shoot.
These are just some ideas. I hope the festival goes well and you enjoy it as well as others. GoOd LuCk!!!

Need help/support about euthanizing cat! please? We Answered:
I think just about every pet owner has been through this. Or will go through it eventually. Euthanizing a pet is one of the most difficult decisions to make. And PLEASE do call it Euthanize and explain what it means to Junior. It means ending your pet's suffering. But remember, pets don't live as long as we do (elephants and parrots notwithstanding). So ending your pet's suffering is a part of pet ownership. Doesn't make it easier, though. Mr. Kitty is a cherished part of your family.
The only thing is, that Mr. Kitty is suffering. He is sick and can't really understand what's going on - except that he's sick. That's a terrible place for a pet to be. Now, if he was comfortable and content, perhaps you could just wait it out - but if he's suffering, and miserable and infected etc. then be kind enough to let him die with dignity.
For your child, Mr.Rogers put out a wonderful book that explains about death and what it is. If it's still in print - it's priceless. He was a brilliant man.
Again, don't call it "putting to sleep." Call it "ending suffering" or something else. That way Junior won't confuse sleep (rest) with death. You have enough to do dealing with the loss of Mr Kitty without having to explain to Junior that no, he won't die if he takes his nap.

How does Celiac Sprue affect your other organs besides your intestines and colon? We Answered:
Because Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder, this means it can effect virtually any system in your body ranging from neurological function to circulation. If you're looking for a good read, you may want to try Living Gluten Free for Dummies, it's one of those black and yellow dummies books. I found my copy on www.amazon.com. There are also a ton of great websites out there with infinite wisdom. My favorite websites are www.celiac.com and www.glutenfreeforum.com, but there are many many others. Just be careful of privately owned websites as the information isn't always up to date. Celiac.com is probably your best resource for information. Glutenfreeforum.com is probably your best resource for support. The people on that message board are wonderful, so ask away. My name on there is Guhlia, so say hi when you stop by.What other autoimmune disease do you have? For your lack of energy, try taking a vitamin high in B vitamins and iron. Have you been tested for anemia? Many Celiacs are anemic. If you haven't gone gluten free yet, please do so immediately. Eating gltuen can cause cancer, osteoperosis, osteopenia, peripheral neuropathy, etc...

Anyone tried Forskolin and DHEA for autoimmune diease? We Answered:
Well, Forskolin is a name brand of a Coleus Forskohlii extract, which is an herb (not a hormone, sorry) that is good for Thyroid health. You shouldn't feel any effects from it from only the first dose... if you did, it was either psychosomatic or it was an allergic reaction. If you keep getting the reaction (and it's bothersome at all), you'll probably want to stop taking it.As far as DHEA, that is a hormone that is a precursor to both Estrogen and Testosterone, which means your body will convert DHEA into whichever of those your body needs more.
I've never heard of either one directly impacting an autoimmune disease, but if you've read that it will, you can certainly try. Good luck!

Question about very rare skin disease? We Answered:
I came here hoping to find an answer to my problem when I noticed your question. Unfortunately, I don't know what is causing your grandfather's blisters. This is weird! I had joint replacement surgery on my knee 6 months ago. Three months after the surgery I developed a small patch of draining blisters on my leg around the incision site. After a few weeks the blisters started drying out.I went to the knee surgeon and my family doctor and a clinic and I was told it is eczema. I was given a cortisone cream but it has not helped. I still have the patch of blisters on my knee and every once in a while they flare up.
I don't know if this is in any way related but, about a month ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with large red welts all around my neck. They burned and were very itchy and the area around my knee, which had calmed down a bit, became red and inflammed again. I saw doctors and was again told it is eczema.
This morning I again woke up with more welts around my neck and smaller welts (like a fingerprint) on my face. I feel like I am on fire. Tomorrow I will contact my doctor and mention this bullous pempigoid to him.
Was your grandfather given tetracycline, or steroids (prednisone)?

Anybody know if there is a connection b/w hypothyroidism and red blotches on the skin?We Answered:
red blotches on the skin is NOT a symptom of hypothyroidism. in fact it is a symptom of hyperthyroidism.is it possible that your girlfriend is taking too high of a dosage of thyroid meds and its making her have hyperthyroidism symptoms?
