Genetic markers appear on a section (or allele) of DNA.
In this case the alzhimers sufferers will have a mutation or a specific order of the DNA nucleotide pairs which means they carry the genetic trait for Alzhimers
Because it says three and would assume that a specific DNA code would occur in three different places on the DNA strand. this can only be detected by trained geneticists.

I hope that is helpful Im no expert and its not too technical but in short its 3 bits on you DNA that look different than people without alzheimers!

yes i think so. in the first stages of the disease, you only forget some things like that you just made yourself a cup of tea a minute ago, so you make another, then you start to forget other things. if you tell them early enough, you should be able to get it through to them. hope that helped!
